Sunset Beach Boat Ramp Ribbon Cutting Set For Friday June 29th

A ribbon cutting ceremony has been scheduled for Friday June 29th for the Sunset Beach Boating Acess area starting at 11 am.  Once the ceremony is finished, the ramp will become available for general public use.

The area includes a boat ramp, parking, and a small fishing pier that will be available to the public at no charge.  The project has been a joint effort between the Town of Sunset Beach, Brunswick County, and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.  It is located at the end of Sunset Blvd North (next to Twin Lakes Restaurant) at the former mainland location of the ramp to the island bridge.
