Pelicans Roost

This house was great. It was spacious and updated. All of the appliances worked well--the refrigerator, the washer, the dryer, etc. The table and the furniture was nice and comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The decor, including the bedspreads were great. The house had great dishes, glasses, and cookware. The outside decks were in good working condition. The outer areas--below the house and the driveway and the little back yard were great and maintained. We appreciated that there was a broom and dustpan. The side tables in the interior, including the bedrooms, were nice and handy. The floors were in good condition. However, the air conditioning on the main level did not work. It was hot, especially in the afternoons and evenings. We should have called on day one, and maybe this could have been resolved.The furniture felt damp. No one's fault. I don't know how to avoid this in a beach house with renters.The only 'house' issue we had was the sliding door to the lower deck of the house was difficult to open and close - functional, but required more effort than it should have.

Enjoyed our stay at Pelican Roost. The property was very clean and comfortable. Only negative for me was the streaming cable TV did not have local stations (or maybe I just couldn't figure out how to get to them).

My family and I had a lovely stay at Pelican's Roost! The house was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The tv was a little difficult to figure out. Some instructions would have been nice. All in all we were very happy there!

We loved this property! It was spacious and was plenty of room for our family. I wished there was more parking (maybe remove the median between the two units to give additional parking for each side. Otherwise, it was great!

Beautiful property with gorgeous views of the ocean!Plenty of room for an extended family or just a romantic twosome retreat. Master bedroom upstairs is spacious and has the best views. Downstairs Is a comfortable gathering area and kitchen is well stocked. Everything was in Good working order.

Great rental at a good value and location. Went there off season, so the beach wasnt very crowded. Easy walk to the beach, great views from two decks. Well kept furnishing inside and outdoor.

Wonderful place for rest and relaxation; the sounds of the maritime forest / dunes at night were awesome. The bedroom and living room were very comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. We ate on the porch each night; might be useful to have a very small table and 2 small chairs outside

Southern Hospitality at its finest,My family has been coming to Sunset Beach since the early 1980s.And this experience at the beach is definitely the most memorable one of them all. The property Pelicans Roost is the most amazing property we have ever had the pleasure of renting. The price for the rental was minimal compared to the luxury experience we received. Sunset Properties will be my first call once this horrible virus is behind us.
