We always enjoy staying on a canal, because of the lovely views and being able to let kids play in the water. We even brought our boat! However, the mature tree growth now impedes the view of the dock and canal from the house and we couldn't see the kids from the upstairs. The kitchen appliances are in good working order, but the cabinets need to be purged to make room for guests' food items. It's a good value house with a great location straight down from a beach access, but would be optimized with some light maintenance.

Very convenient to the beach. House itself was perfectly acceptable, although it was not as nice as some of the other places we have stayed on the island. Furniture is sort of flimsy, and house needs a little TLC (torn screens, etc.), but again it is a perfectly fine house for a week at the beach.

Well maintained, clean and nice home. Great location on the island. Close to beach access. My only recommendation is to go through the stacks of dishes in the cupboards and get rid of some of them so there is a cupboard to put your food in. Overall wonderful home and would definitely stay there again.
