Sugarpig

Sugarpig is our new favorite cottage!! We loved the location and the layout of the interior. The kitchen had every pan, utensil and gadget we would ever need to prepare meals!! The seating on the screen porch was very comfortable, great for morning coffee and watching the sunset in the evenings. We appreciated the linen service, having the beds made and ready for us and towels provided was a huge plus!!

Our first time staying at this home. It was a nice house with plenty of room for everyone to relax. Fishing was not great at this time but we did enjoy the view. The screened in porch was a great place to relax with no bug issues.

We've stayed at maybe a half dozen properties at Sunset Beach through this agency. We've enjoyed them all but this is our current favorite! Beautiful place on a wide creek/canal with a decent dock and easy access to the beach to boot. Great porch areas, both screened and open. Nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable living space. What's not to like??! Hope to rent it again.

Sugar Pig was a wonderful house on the Inlet. We have stayed in many properties, both on the Inlet and on the oceanfront, over the years and this one is very nearly the best. It is in excellent condition and is well furnished. Only critical remark (and a minor one) is that the carpeting in the bedrooms is stained and could use changing. The beds are very comfortable; all bedrooms have an en suite bathroom. The living space and kitchen are large and well appointed. All of the bedrooms face the street, but there is a nice screened in porch on the inlet as well as a deck with rockers. Up to date and plentiful kitchenware (pots & pans). The location affords a beautiful view over the inlet and salt marshes. Great bird watching!

We will continue to re-book this house every year. Sugarpig is well maintained inside and out, very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The linen and cleaning service is included and very convenient. It has plenty of seating in the living area and a bathroom for each bedroom. We love that the public beach access is so close and we have really enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking in the canal. It is the perfect location for our family.

We absolutely adored our stay at the property! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning beach views and the immaculate cleanliness. As a family who's been coming to this beach for four years now, this place felt like a second home. It's a true family-friendly haven, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for all. The added charm of staying on the canal was a major plus, enhancing our experience and making our vacation truly unforgettable. No wonder we've already booked our stay for next year - we can't wait to create more cherished memories!

Enjoyed our stay. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Loved the porches! Great view. Kitchen had what we needed for our cooking needs. I would stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great house in a great location. Very nice screen porch.

Excellent location with canal access and very short walk to beach. Property worked well for our group of 4 adults, all had an individual bedroom / bath. Could use a cosmetic refresh in some areas. Roomy kitchen and common area. Kitchen was well equipped except pans were very old and needed replacement. Two dining chairs were broken and unusable. A large raccoon was seen once under the back yard patio area, unclear if that was random sighting.

Location was great with turtles just off of the dock.

We love this home! It is an older style, but nicely furnished. The outdoor space is really nice and we used the screened in porch a lot, and kayaked from the dock. Look forward to staying here next year.

This house was perfect for 4 couples with each bedroom having an attached bath. The location on the bay is beautiful and we enjoyed both the outside deck and screened porch for coffee and cocktails.

This home was perfect for our annual family reunion. Lots of fishing on the bay for the kids and days spend at the beach. I hope we are able to rent it again next year.
