Seamans Folly

5th year in a row of a 2 week stay at Seaman's Folly - a simply splendid place to call home and enjoy Sunset Beach to the fullest. Home is super well maintained and clean with open floor plan along with many places to sit and either chat or have some time to yourself with a view of the canal or island.

We have stayed in this beach home many summers, but had not been there for the past 3 years. In spending our vacation there again this July, we enjoyed the updates and addition of extra finished space that have made this favorite house even better! We just wish we could be allowed to use the outside elevator!

Seaman's Folly is a super nice home that is very well maintained on all fronts by Owners. Wonderful access to Beach with path right outside. Sterling views from the Crow's Nest. We really appreciated the investments/enhancements in the last year with new decking/steps, new glassed in sitting room and new roomy utility/ 1/2 bath. Open floor plan with lots of natural light wonderful for spreading out and having conversations in various places. Sure looking forward to coming back June 2025 for 2 more weeks!

Seaman,s Folly is a beautiful, clean, well maintained home! It's located beside a beach access walk way. The house has nice, comfortable furnishings. The A/C works great and kept the house very cool! We love this house and have already made our reservation for next year!

Loved that we received a call early on Saturday afternoon, giving us an additional day on the beach.The two downstairs bathrooms were uncomfortably small, but I believe that must be a result of making two bathrooms out of what was once one, and of course it's preferable for each bedroom to have it's own bathroom, so good job! The small washer/dryer wassomewhat inconvenient, but again, I understand that was a result of lack of space.We had not used Seaman's Folly previously, but the recent renovations were very well done, nice tile, counter tops, flooring. Love the bright, open area and furnishings!

Seaman's Folly is a super nice property. Wonderful proximity to the Beach next to beach access and views of Beach and Island from Crow's Nest and Canal/Marsh/Bridge from the front of the house. Upon entering house, could just feel it was very clean and well maintained. Nice open and bright first floor plan for spreading out and entertaining. Lots of deck space on all levels for taking in views and having conversation. Only area of opportunity is bathroom spaces are smaller than average - although they are very well maintained and clean. We are definitely back next year for 2 weeks!

This was our second year staying at Seaman's Folly! We love this house! It is very well-maintained and there are thoughtful touches throughout the home. This house is located directly beside a beach access, so getting to the beach is quick and easy. We love the big outdoor shower, which is very clean. The heat pump/ AC units work great and are the appropriate size for the home. We have stayed in many different houses at Sunset, and this is one of our favorites! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We have already made our reservation for next year.

The property was lovely. A perfect space for our family. We especially loved the screened in porch. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and dishes. The paint and decor felt refreshed as well.

Seaman's Folly is one of the nicest houses we have stayed in while vacationing at Sunset! The home is VERY clean and well maintained. You can tell the owner's take a lot of pride in their home. The furnishings are very nice and comfy. Lots of extra touches throughout. Very spacious outdoor shower. The house is located right beside a beach access pathway, so getting to the beach is quick and easy, even with kids! The air conditioning system works great. We loved our stay in this house and we will definitely rent this house again!

Loved the property, fit our family perfectly. Location was perfect too, it was right on the path to the most awesome beach, about a 3 minute walk. The house was well maintained and up to date, felt like home!

Wonderful beach house that accommodates our entire family. We love it there and have booked for next year, 2017.

This is our family's second visit to Seaman's Folly. We like the fact there are four bathrooms - one for each of the four bedrooms. TV's in each bedroom, loft & living room are convenient - love the new curved TV in the living room!
