Point of View

Great location for both beach and water activities,easy walk to beach and dock for kayaking and fishing. Great outside sitting area. Recent upgrades inside were much appreciated.

House was very clean with well stocked kitchen. Wonderful deck and chairs for viewing sunset. Great dock for swimming, fishing and paddleboards. The dock does need stairs as it is almost impossible to crawl out with injury. The neighbors were kind enough to let the children use their stairs. The downstairs bedrooms do not have fans. Sunset Properties was diligent in getting the upstairs automatic air conditioner control setting fixed on Monday morning. We have rented this property again for next year.

Our family had a fabulous week at this bay front house! It was our 20th summer at SB and the bay front area is our favorite location- water behind for fishing and paddle boarding and only 4 rows from the beach. This house was well-maintained, comfortable and in the perfect spot. The included linens were a nice convenient touch as well.

The upgrade of some furnishings was good to see. There was a floor grate on the floor in the dining area that was not secure which is a safety hazard, we put tape on it so no one would fall into it. We had a problem with the a/c one time and the repair response was very timely. Our family had a good week staying there and plan to return next year.

Nice location. Good size. Older furniture inside. Nice outdoor furniture.

Another great week at Sunset Beach! Check-in and check-out are always so smooth and easy! We've stayed in a lot of houses on the island but this is the first time we stayed at one on the canal/bay. It was so nice I think we'll stay there again next year!

Had an incredible stay at Point of View during our July vacation! The house was very clean and the location on the canal in short walking distance to the beach access was ideal. Large screen TV in the family room and outdoor deck furniture was very nice. The property could use some updating and a couple of the rooms did not have fans, but other than that we were very happy to call this place home during our family vacation.

Very nice house, the views are exceptional! Great to sit on the deck to watch the sunrise and sunsets.Great to swim off the dock, however the drawback is no ladder to get out of the water.The house is well stocked with amenities especially the kitchen.

With some updating, this vacation home could be outstanding. I appreciated the well equipped kitchen & of course having our own dock was a huge plus. The outside landscaping is very well done but I do wish a few rocking chairs were available. Access to the beach is perfect.

The property was great for us. We loved the location, which gave us a nice bay view but also a short walk to the beach. It had a wonderful screened porch with comfortable chairs for two for any rainy weather. The upper deck was great for sunset viewing.

Pleasant, comfortable cottage but not all doorways are handicap accessible.

Very nice house and location. Dredging is sorely needed to deepen the canals, and also to open the former inlet to the canals/ICW at the West end of the island.

We absolutely loved our beach house. This group of family and friends have been coming to Sunset Beach for many years. This trip was the 25 anniversary!! We usually stay in homes on the beach side but this year we stayed on the canal side. I wasn't sure if that was a good idea but ended up being the BEST! It was very quiet and peaceful. The deck was the perfect place for dinner and unbelievable sunsets. We loved it so much that we will chose the canal side again next year. The grounds are beautiful and I have say I've been to many beach resorts and Sunset is by far the cleanest, well maintained property with friendly people I've ever seen anywhere.We will be back next year and hopefully many more times to come.

Nice house and the property outside was much neater/cleaner.Great location!A ladder on the dock to get in and out of the water would be great!No ants this year!We will be back next year.

This house has been our Sunset beach getaway for many years!

The layout of the house was fantastic! We had six adult family members and never felt cramped or on top of each other. Large kitchen for multiple cooks, and plenty of seating in the living area. Also, the beds were very comfortable. The view is AMAZING!! Lovely, quiet setting.

We have rented this house for > 16 years.

We love this house and have been renting it for years. We will be back next summer.
