One Love

One Love is a very nice cottage to stay in at Sunset Beach. It was clean and well appointed. We had 3 toddlers so the gated porch was a nice feature to keep them from walking off. Most beds were comfortable except for the bedroom with the trundle bed. The mattress is very uncomfortable and the springs creak when laid on. The location is a close walk to the beach access. We used wagons to carry our beach chairs etc. The dining table was large but was missing a chair so we had to use stools from the counter to sit all of us at the table. There is a guest storage room that we used to store our beach equipment. There is also an outdoor shower which facilitated showering after being at the beach. There was amble shaded parking under the cottage.

Great house and location. Would definitely stay here again.

One Love is a great house, good layout, nicely furnished, very Wei supplied kitchen and perfect for my family. The changes in the upstairs are are very sensible. The front porch might be my favorite space at the house. We also love the location since it's an easy walk to the beach but not as busy as Main St. and we can walk down to 9ur family on North Shore. Hopefully w can get our weeks back next year.

One Love was clean and well maintained. It had gates on the porch which was great for us because we had toddlers and the gates kept them from going down the stairs. The outdoor shower was used after returning from the beach. There was ample parking for 4 cars (3 under cover). We had family members ages 1 to 70+ and it suited our needs perfectly.

With it's great layout and great location, One Love was the perfect setting for our family vacation. Will definitely visit again!

We love this house and have stayed in it for several years. Love coming back to the same property. We like the furnishings inside and out, and how they are arranged. We appreciated this year the addition of a large table and chairs on the porch. And those green rockers are great!I'll mention this again, but we would really like to have a safety bar in the upstairs bathroom.

The house is furnished extremely well even down to the kitchen utensils. We have stayed here for three years and absolutely love it!

We love this property and have stayed there every year since the first time we rented it. The open aspect of the first floor and porch is wonderful.

We have booked this house for our annual family beach trip for 5 or more years. It is a great location, close to a beach access with views of both the ocean and inlet. The bedrooms are a perfect constellation of beds for our family of ten. The bed house is large, lovely, comfortable with an extremely well equipped kitchen. The new owners have added special touches and improved the landscaping. If I had One Love, this would be it!

We had a fabulous time at "One Love" The proximity to the beach was great. The many levels allowed us to each have our own space (if needed) and also great space to be together as a family. For the kids, I loved the 'bunk bed' room and the outdoor space. The furnishings were inviting, kitchen was well equipped and morning coffee on any of balconies was serene. I would recommend renting bikes prior to your stay or bringing your own. We will be returning to 'One Love' soon! Thank you for sharing your home.

As I begin to plan our next beach getaway, I realized that I had not left a review of our Thanksgiving visit to this beautiful home! This was our first trip to Sunset Beach, but it will not be our last. Whether you are visiting for the first time or planning your annual trip, this property is definitely worth a closer look!We immediately felt at home here! Highlights for me included the outdoor spaces, including the huge front porch and decks/ balconies facing both the canal and ocean! The front porch proved to be a great place for morning coffee, afternoon puzzles, and quiet evening moments. The beds were comfortable and each room had space to spread out. We were pleasantly surprised that the bonus room upstairs had a door for complete privacy, which is helpful if you plan to use that room as an additional sleeping space.The kitchen is well stocked. We brought all of our food in for the week and found everything we needed and more! The owners are wonderful and provided quick responses to all of our questions. They even gave us some tips on places see and things to do while we were there.The sunsets are spectacular here! I shot hundreds of images on my camera of the sunrises, sunsets, and the wildlife. Be sure to enjoy the short nature hike into the wetlands. The trailhead is just before the Kindred Spirit mailbox.The location was perfect, as we enjoyed the canal views and the very short walk to the ocean.

One Love was a fantastic house, very close to the beach and in great shape. Updated and fresh, One Love was perfect for our family Christmas gathering. The kitchen was well stocked and very organized, and we loved the large porch area. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the amount of televisions as well as the amount of beds and bathrooms. Also the large amount of parking on the property was a pleasant surprise. We quickly reserved this house for next year!

This is truly a lovely comfortable beach house. The location is perfect. We have stayed here many times and the house accommodates our family of ten (including children and grandchildren). We always enjoy our stay and hope to keep coming back for many summers to come.

We love this cottage and appreciate all the improvements that have been made. The new chairs on the porch, the beverage fridge, the sectional in the den. The only improvements we would recommend is a hand rail on the wall side all the way up the stairs, and at least in the master bath, a safety bar on the bath/shower wall.We also appreciated the quick response from the office to a call requesting a minor repair to one of the doors.Ingrid Whaley

Afraid to say how wonderful our stay at Sonset Foundation was this week. The house was beautifully decorated, plenty of open space, great kitchen, beds were comfortable, great storage space downstairs and clean outside shower. We loved the front porch, amazing views and no bug issues because of fans. Would stay there every year.

We like it very much and have stayed there for several years and have reserved it for next year. The one thing that would make this house better would be a real hand railing for going up and down the steps between the first and second floor, at least on one side, better on both. It is difficult especially to come down the steps, often we are carrying things, and we have had some close calls with falling.

Loved Sonset Foundation - it was a very beautiful and comfortable home! I would recommend it highly and would stay here again!

Home was perfect for our annual family vacation! Spacious with plenty of seating, loved the beach decor and large porch- wish it had been screened. Great location- easy walk to beach! This was our 27th year at Sunset - perfect place to continue family tradition!
