Another wonderful stay at Okie Dokie West!

We were very impressed with both Okie Dokie west and east. Both sides of this duplex show that the owner takes pride in maintaining this property. This was the 6th year we have stayed in these two properties and we have always been pleased with their condition.

We have been going to sunset beach for over 30 years. This the 5 years we stayed and Okie Dokie. As always the trip was great. The whole family came. We love the fact that there is no commercial business on the island. We feel very safe there. So much that the little ones can play outside and walk to near by houses the rest of the family occupied.

We have been staying at this property for more than 10 years and have reserved it again for next year. We like bro g able to rent both sides of the duplex and open up the whole house for our large family. We also love the location on the east end of the beach and love the convenience of being adjacent to the beach access walkway.

Once again a great extended family vacation at Okie Dokie! The house works beautifully for our family. Great location right next to the beach access.

We were very pleased with our rental at Sunset Beach. We hope to rent it again next year at the same time.

Okie Dokie W is a well equipped home in excellent condition. It's location bordering the beach access make an easy trip to the beach. Each bedroom having a full bathroom is a nice feature for all guests. Have stayed here twice and plan to stay here 10 2022.

We had stayed at Okie Dokie East four times before and were very satisfied there. This was our first stay at Okie Dokie West and it was even better! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms (four each) is a great feature. Plus we really enjoyed being right next to the public boardwalk which lessened the walk to/from the beach.

We've been coming to Sunset Beach for 9 years(every other year) and this was our favorite property yet. We rented both sides b/c there were 21 of us - we were all spread out and very comfortable. The house is updated and the kitchen is awesome. We'll rent this one again!!

Okie Dokie is a great oceanfront home. The owners have clearly care not just about basic maintenance but comfort as well. The only thing I could find to upgrade is many of the bed pillows are flat thats it. I would recommend this house to anyone. You just cant beat the comfort combined with the location.

We loved the house. They upgraded the internet which was great. We love being right in the beach. We go as a family so it is nice that everyone can leave their beach chairs and tents under our house. There is enough room for a lot people even though only 4 of us stay there. This is our second year in this house and we have already signed up for next year.

Consider my review of 1302A to apply to this property as well. I rented both properties together as one unit

This beautiful and well equipped duplex is located on the East End of Sunset Beach, our preferred part of the beach. It is situated right on the 13th street walkway, which is very convenient and spoils you for staying anywhere there is no direct walkway access. The kitchen is well equipped, which we very much appreciate since we cook almost all our meals at the house--especially this year with the COVID pandemic. There are stainless steel appliances, and the stove and microwave were new this year. The beds are very comfortable and will sleep a lot of people especially since there is an upstairs bunk room that will sleep four kids. There is a downstairs king bed as well as a king in the upstairs master. There were some new outdoor rocking chairs this year, which were much needed and appreciated. The bar stools were also recovered this year. There is plenty of seating for meals, and they participate in recycling, which we very much appreciate.

Okie Dokie was a very comfortable home for our family and friends. The location on the ocean was fantastic with beach access right next to the house. The walkway had been replaced by the town recently and the 2 sets of steps onto the beach are very steep and made it difficult to get beach wagons, etc down the steps. Having a bathroom for every bedroom is wonderful and the house was furnished comfortably. The porch furniture needs to be replaced - an old wooden picnic table and several very old wooden rocking chairs need to be updated for such a nice location and view of the ocean.

Spacious and well equipped duplex that we have been staying st for many years. We enjoyed the new walk way to the beach this year. The house had s number of minor repair items, which were addressed promptly by the maintenance staff. We enjoyed our stay as always. The rockers on the B side are all broken and in need of repair or replacement.

We loved the location since the house is right on a beach access. It worked well for our family especially for our grandchildren it was easy back snd forth to the beach. The house is nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc. This is a linen ready home a big plus when traveling from out state no need to bring sheets and towels. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent this home again.

The property faced the ocean and next to the boardwalk, so it was a nice location. It was about a 10min walk to the Main Street boardwalk. The home was adequately furnished with all the comforts of home and worked for individuals of all ages from young (less than 2 years old) to the young at heart (over 60 years old). There was plenty of room in the common space and the master suites on both levels were perfect. We would consider this house again!

We love Okie Dokie. The owner takes such good care of it and is always upgrading everything. My nursing friends came and spent the second week with me. I had to practically peel them off the ceiling because they were so happy !

Absolutely wonderful house. Best beach Vacation n 20 years. Your reminders were 2nd to none. Owners made a home away from home. Thanks so much.
