Loved Marsh Madness.

We love this house for it's Marsh views and size to accommodate our multi-generational family. It's a great location on the island and the 40th street beach access puts you near bird Island.

We continue to enjoy our time in Marsh Madness. The location gives us excellent views of the marsh and of the InterCoastal Waterway. The large picture windows give us clear views for bird watching. An open porch and an upper deck are perfect places to watch the sunset. A large screened porch for leisurely breakfasts is a great place to start the day. The kitchen is well equipped for meal prep. There is a large assortment of books, games, and puzzles available to use. Unfortunately, like most properties, Marsh Madness is not easily accessible for those of us who are less able-bodied. There is no handrail that goes to the top of the interior stairs which could be an easy fix.

We love staying at this location! The amenities they provide are great! The house is in excellent condition and the screened in porch is a wonderful place to have meals and just relax. Sunset Properties have always been easy to work with! We continue coming back every year and love it!

Love this home/house. Kitchen is well stocked (we cook in and cook it up!), beds and furniture beachy and comfy, views fabulous.

We love this house and have been coming here for many years. It's fabulous location on the salt marsh near Bird Island. The views are great for bird watching with large windows and a screened porch that really is perfect. It suits our extended family and our grandchildren LOVE being there! The hard part is leaving at the end of the week.

Terrific house and location, we've been renting a week in the summer for years

This home far exceeded our expectations! The owners have lovingly updated, maintained and decorated/equipped this home (although my husband missed not having a grill-oh well). Because of the location, we think it is the best house on the island, and we have been coming to SB for a very long time. The check-in/ check-out process was fast, easy and well organized too. We also appreciated the small touches like the dish soap, toilet paper and other welcome items to have before we hit the grocery store. The home was cleaner than most other properties we have rented in the past (thank you)!! Also, Sharon was very helpful when I stopped by the office to reserve Marsh Madness for 2025. A wonderful experience from start to finish! We can't wait to come back!!

We love staying at Marsh Madness! The location is perfect and the house is beautiful! We noticed improvements this year with new decks, windows, doors and furniture on the screened in porch! Absolutely beautiful! The house is stocked wonderfully with just about anything you could want or need on vacation! We will continue coming back every year!

It looked great and the outside areas were really nice with the new decking and siding.

We always enjoy staying at Marsh Madness, a unique beach house.And appreciate the upgrades to the railings, roof access , water access and particularly the addition of comfortable furniture on the screened porch.Thank you owners! Saw a Tri colored heron and ibises as well great blue herons, wood storks, and maybe a spoonbill, beautiful sunsets. Looking forward to 2024.

Marsh Madness, 1402 Bay Street is a wonderful location on the Salt Marsh. The view is outstanding if you enjoy bird watching and seeing fish jumping. The house has a great layout for extended family and has had many upgrades over the years. The large screened porch on the Salt Marsh is the best! The walk down to the 40th Street Beach access is a bit of a stroll, so that's something to take into consideration.

Nice location, some issues with an older property but overall great. Upstairs rooms and bathrooms very small for adults.

Lovely stay in a lovely home. A wonderful gathering place for family. Thank you, owners.We've been coming to Sunset Beach for 30+ years and were visited this year by some unusual birds in the tidal marsh outside the property...roseate spoonbills, wood storks, little blue herons, a tri-colored heron, along with the skimmers, egrets of all kinds, terns and pelicans. Great fun for kids to watch them all fishing. Looking forward to next year at Marsh Madness.

We love this house for it's spectacular marsh view. There is always birds to watch and fish jumping at high tide from the large screened porch. It is well appointed and accommodates our multi-generational family with it's large kitchen, living room and dining areas. The beach at the 40th street entrance is beautiful and the closest to Bird Island. We have been coming to this house with our family for many years.

Such a wonderful vacation home! The views were breathtaking. Loved the porches and everything was just like the photos showed online! Definitely staying here more!

We love this house and will be back next year! The only issue was the HVAC in the master bedroom wasn’t working so it was quite warm¦..but we managed.

Marsh Madness is a very lovely, older home, situated in one of the best spots on the island; with beautiful views of the marshes from the living areas, screened porch and decks. Though not large, the gracious layout allows for plenty of private spaces. The house is well-equipped and feels like home. Its clear the owners take care of this property. We hope to stay here many times in the future.

Love this home, it's our go-to at the beach

We love this house and property. It has the best screened porch on the salt marsh and a 180 degree view of the marsh. Plus a great upper deck for watching sunsets. We love watching the birds and tides come and go.

This property is excellent for photography and kayak fans. The sunrises and sunsets over the marsh back bay is outstanding. The property is well kept, breezes keep it cool most of the day without AC. Highly recommended.

We reported that a screen was out on the porch and the maintenance agreed to replace it between visits but this caused a terrible problem for us with mosquitos.Every year we asked that all bedrooms have TVs. We brought 2 with us this year which is a lot of work.

Great property. No bugs which is always a plus. Great views. Wish we had access to kayaks. Only one negative - grass needed cutting.

Second visit to this property in three years. Well maintained.

The house was set up nicely and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The view was breath taking and we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset each evening. It was quiet and very peaceful and the large yard allowed everyone to fish and enjoy some outdoor games. It was a little far from the beach though.

We love Marsh Madness! If you love bird watching and being on the salt marsh this is a wonderful place to stay with a 180 degree view of the marsh from the large screened porch, living room & dining room. The rooftop deck is a great place to watch the sunset. It's a quick bike ride down to the beach to the 40th street beach access and close to Bird Island.

This was our first year at Marsh Madness and we thoroughly enjoyed the location. It was perfect for the bird watchers in our group. Loved being able to see the sunrise and the sunset from the house.

We loved this house. It is very nicely decorated, very well-appointed. The views of the marsh are astonishing. The walk to the beach (~1/3 mile) is easy. We hope to return soon!

Wonderful house and location

Marsh Madness was the best beach house, great views of sunrise and sunsets, great birding area, nice house. If there was a problem, it was just too far from the beach.Believe this was our 35 year coming to Sunset and never disappointed.

Marsh Madness is a gorgeous house with an incredible view!

This house is a jewel. We loved everything about it; the kitchen gets particular note for being extremely well-equipped for serious cooks.

Lovely house and location, with wonderful marsh views from almost every room; we'll definitely stay here again on a future visit.
