Little House on the Beach

Little House on the Beach is in a spectacular location with a quick walk to the beach and with a rooftop Crow's Nest that is amazing for views of the ocean and the ICW for sunsets, and stargazing! So very cool! Landscaping is very pretty with plantings, and a side parking area that was awesome. There is a beautiful palm tree right beside the steps up to the porch off of 13th. The fronds needed to be cut back because they are growing over the steps, otherwise is was amazing. The house itself in design offers great living space with a large living room, and loft on the 2nd floor. Linens included is such a very nice amenity. It seems the decorations are in the midst of some upgrades in some of the bedrooms, updated comforters maybe and pretty paint colors. The master is sizeable, but very dated. The dresser does not offer much in the way of storage space for clothes and the closet is very small. The night stands have drawers too, but the large drawer at the bottom is off track and can easily fall on your foot, just be careful! The porches and decking are amazing!! We spent a lot of time on the porch off of the kitchen and in the Crow's Nest. There are some minor things we noticed like the kitchen is well-stocked, but the pots and pans being Teflon coated were very scratched. It is hard we are sure to maintain them and to make sure people do not scratch them, but that was a bit unnerving as once they are scratched or damaged they need to be replaced. Our stay was incredible, we did not go without while in the house. We will be there next year in Little House on the Beach for more fun memories, Sunset Beach 2022!

Property was great. Easy access to the beach and fully stocked kitchen. Everything our group needed for a great week at the beach!

We loved this house. It was perfect for our family. The beds were wonderful. We loved having the large comfortable sofas in the living room. It made it much easier to have all the adults together for conversations and games. We also loved that you all had so many boogie boards and skim boards available to use. Your crepe myrtles were blooming beautifully. The birds were singing to us every morning from their bird houses. Having the whole front porch screened in was also good for keeping all the little ones in the same space while the grown ups played board games on the table. We hope to stay there again on our next visit.
