A La Plage E

Great cottage. Easy access to the beach, very well stocked kitchen, nice furniture, great porch and outdoor furniture. All around a top notch stay. Bonus: 120v outlet in the parking area so we could trickle charge our Tesla.

It was very comfortable property. Enjoyed the living area especially because there was seating for everyone in the family. Loved the deck and screened porch.

We were very pleased with this beach house. It was well equipped in the kitchen and the seating was comfortable. We had 6 adults and 4 children ages 18 mo's to 6. My wife and I especially enjoyed the balcony off the upstairs master and comfortable lounge chairs. Shelving and storage in the master was huge.Main negative was the main sliding door needs attention, very, very difficult to open, easier to close but still takes muscle.It would be nice if the back yard was as grassy and the neighboring yards so the kids could play there.

This was our second time at this home and we will certainly book it again. The view is stunning and location is so quiet at the far east end of the island. The home is wonderful with everything needed in the kitchen and more than enough space for an extended family. One of the many really nice things about this home is the main level bedroom with a king size bed and private bath. Additionally there is a half bath near the entry to the home. The wooden walkway to the ocean is one house over which is so convenient too. This is one of our favorite homes at Sunset Beach!

A La Plage E was one of our favorite houses that we've stayed in of the many over the years for our 3 generations. Our weeks change from year to year depending on work and school schedules so it's seldom we're able to come at the same time so we are usually unable to be repeaters unless we just get lucky. A La Plage has been updated in most of the areas of the house. The kitchen area was well laid out although we did miss having a little pantry area. We do most of the meals at the house and loved having everything we needed. The half-bath downstairs was ideal, also. Both decks had nice, sturdy furniture and the screened porch provided us another place to have our meals. The master bedroom and bathroom were WOW! Updated and comfortable! The only real issue we had on our stay was the construction on the deck and house next door which certainly couldn't be helped. Both the young and the old on our trip appreciate the owners providing this lovely house for us to rent. You can tell that they have put a lot of thought and love into their home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay at A La Plage E. at Sunset Beach. The home was very comfortable and set up well for a large family. We had plenty of space and seating for all. The home was clean with sheets and towels included. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with every utensil and cooking item you would need. We would stay here again, for sure! The only inconvenience couldn't be helped. They were working on the house next door so there was a crew every day from 8 AM to 5 PM. It made it a bit uncomfortable using the balconies, especially for the teenage girls.

A La Plage is a great location. The views were amazing. Kitchen and living area was spacious. The home was clean and well furnished. Master bathroom was nicely upgraded. The other bathrooms could use an upgrade. Overall our stay was a great experience!

Wonderful property, gorgeous views and quick walk to the beach. Spacious so we only used 2 of the 4 bedrooms. Only negatives we found was bed frame broken in one of the side rooms twin beds and queen bed in back room was slanted as bed frame was also broken and hot water ran out very quickly so was unable to fully utilize jacuzzi tub. Everything else was superb!

Wonderful ocean views from the deck(s) of this comfortable and well maintained home on Sunset Beach. Linens were good quality and in good condition. Home was very clean. Would return to this property again.

Beautiful home with fantastic views of the ocean.

This is a roomy duplex with lots of comfy living room furniture and seating for 7-8, not including the dining chairs (8) and 4 bar stools at the counter. The screened porch with two tables and seating for 8 - 10 and uncovered deck with rocking chairs added to the comfort. The beds were wonderful. The kitchen was very well equipped (we cook). All bedrooms were nicely sized. as were the 3 full bathrooms. We enjoyed the jetted tub in the largest bath. It was nice to have the little 1/2 bath at the entry. Paint colors and bedding is nicely coordinated. The beach is a 2 minute walk away, and one can see the waves from the lower porch and especially from the upper deck off of the largest bedroom. Except for a maintenance issue which was taken care of, which possibly could not have been anticipated, we enjoyed our stay at A La Plage A very much.

This is a great house for our family. It has a good layout and well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the screened porch.

We loved the house. Overall great stay. A couple small notes-the sliding door on the lower level needs some repair-it is really difficult to slide and the lock doesn't work well. Also the screened porch was very sandy. I know it's an outside space, but it was dirty enough that we didn't really want to use it. Other than these small issues, we had a very nice stay.

This was our second stay at this house. We had a great week! It was very quiet all along the beach. This remains one of the best stocked kitchens we've ever seen. The layout of the house is great!

This was our second year to stay at A La Plage E.Open kitchen with sitting area was perfect for interaction when hosting guests for dinner. Master bedroom on the second floor was well appointed and had a great view from the balcony. Beds for 8 with plenty of privacy that has 3 full bathrooms.We are booked for May 2021. Very short walk to the beach.

This house was perfect for our family. It has the best stocked kitchen we have experienced in a rental. The house was set up well for grandparents, parents and kids. The screened in porch was well used during our stay. The neighborhood was fairly quiet for mid-July. It was a great week at the beach for our family!

We are long time vacationers to Sunset but this was the first time we visited Sunset in late September and enjoyed it very much. A La Place E was a great house and suited our needs perfectly. Nice location, nice amenities and just the right size and location.

Layout of this house was perfect for our extended family group (grandparents in the downstairs bedroom, parents and children in the 3 bedrooms upstairs). Dining table (and lighting) perfect for puzzles at one end with room for eating meals at the other plus the breakfast bar. Comfortable living area with beautiful view of the beach, morning coffee on the deck was lovely, easy walk put us on the beach in a minute or two. This was one of the best houses we have rented, in the 5 years we have been coming to Sunset.

We love this property and signed up to stay again next summer. Great location, great house, well-stocked kitchen, great screened in porch and outer porch. Love the beach access. Love the linen-readiness. The only missing elements are ceiling fans in a couple of the bedrooms. Also, the hooks in the outdoor shower rust towels and whatever you hang on them.

The best part of staying st this property was the view and close proximity to the walk to the beach.

We love the location of the property, this is about the 3rd year we have rented this house.

We loved the new deck! The sliding glass door needs a new handle. Couldn't lock. Had to use the wooden bar. The screened in deck is a favorite. Storm door should be replaced. We were able to use the master bedroom, which was wonderful! But our grown children were without a TV in the bedroom upstairs. Over all, we love the house and its location. Any chance of putting in a yard and a TV for next year? We've been visiting for over 30 years! Sunset Beach is my favorite place!

We stayed in A La Plage E. The house was in a great location, with great access to the beach, beautiful views of the beach from both levels of the house. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house was beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable, probably some of the best we have had at Sunset Beach. We would definitely recommend this property and will be renting this house again.

The property was wonderful to stay at. The kitchen was well furnished, including a Keurig coffee maker. The open layout was very nice for entertaining and having plenty of room for the family to get together. The crossing path from the house to the beach was right at the end of the property which made it very convenient to get over the dunes. Overall I would recommend this property.

A La Plage E is a beautiful beachfront rental. The furniture and accessories are are all top quality. The master bedroom looks out over the ocean and has it's own deck, very nice. The kitchen is well stocked, all we brought with us was a crockpot. One of the bedrooms did not have a ceiling fan and probably would benefit from having one. But, it's a stretch to even consider that a criticism. This was the second time we've rented this property. We've been coming to Sunset Beach for thirty years. And, without question or doubt, A La Plage E is the most beautiful, most luxurious rental property we've used.
