Just Ducky

The location of this house was great! I also liked the layout of the house. It was perfect for the number of people we had there. The kitchen was very well stocked (much better then other rentals we have stayed out). The only negative comment I can make was that the beds were not very comfortable. Otherwise the house was perfect and I thank the owners for letting us stay in their house for the week.

This was our family's third visit at Just Ducky. As always, we had a phenomenal time. A couple of new faces joined us this trip and they can't wait to come back. Thanks again for a great vacation at Sunset Beach!

The house is very spacious, well equipped, with lots of natural light, and very comfortable. The price was very competitive with similar properties.

The house had plenty of room & equipped with everything we needed. It's close to the beach access & the view from the top deck is awesome.I hadn't been to Sunset Beach in 25 yrs & definitely not waiting that long to come back. So thankful I planned this much needed vacation.

Just Ducky is a large house on the third row. Great location. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable, but the mattress on the pull out Couch was absolutely horrific. Don't plan on anyone sleeping on that. The kitchen was well equipped and large. The living room was large and there's an extra sitting room upstairs. My only complaint is, I don't know why you're expected to pay extra for the linen package. As much as we paid for that house it should come with it. I know that's not how it works, but it would be nice.

We loved this house! It was roomy and well supplied!

We have been coming down to Sunset Beach for about 35 yrs. We have two sons that now have families of their own. This Island is perfect, very safe, clean and isn't near as busy of other beaches.We have stayed in a few different homes but now with 10 of us..Just Ducky fits our family perfect!!Thank you Sunset Beach for staying an Island with not all the businesses and growth!!We love Sunset Beach NCTamme/Indiana

Home was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the open concept of kitchen, dining and den area.

We have been coming to the island for the last twenty years but this was our first time renting Just Ducky. We liked it well enough to rent it again next year however it could use some tender loving care. The room with the king size bed needs to have some of the ceiling tiles repaired and screening on door to porch needs to be fixed. Enjoyed the tv room on the second floor along with the deck that was great for watching sunsets and thunderstorms.

This is our second year at Just Ducky, as always Everything down to silverware is impeccably organized and labeled! The short walk-way to the beach is such a great time for the kids to learn about the wildlife. There are tons of games & books to keep the whole family entertained while the coastal storms happen! We cannot wait until next year!

The property is in a great location with easy access to the beach. This was our second year staying at Just Ducky. As mentioned in my survey last year, the green carpet needs to go! It is on the steps going to the upstairs and in the upstairs and needs to be replaced. The bathrooms could also use some updating. The screened porch is nice along with the other balconies. Overall it is a nice house but could just use a little updating on the inside.

We have stayed here for two years in a row. Perfect place for kids. Close to the beach, quiet street.

This was our first year staying in Just Ducky. It was a nice house and we loved the location a little closer to the beach access than in previous years. It was roomy and had plenty of supplies in the kitchen and the appliances were nice. It could use a little updating (green carpet on stairs and upstairs definitely needs to be updated) and double paned windows to reduce outside noise would be good. Some headboards on the beds rather than just mattresses on bedframes for cosmetic appearance would have been nice but beds were comfortable. Overall we were very happy and will be staying there again next year.

Great house. Plenty of room for our entire crowd. Close to beach and very well stocked. We had a wonderful week.

This was our second time staying at Just Ducky, and our family is super pleased with our vacation. The house was very clean and is conveniently close to the beach access. The outdoor showers are very private and clean as well. We hope to continue our tradition of staying at Just Ducky in the future!

This is our 8th year at Just Ducky and really enjoy it each time. We appreciate the updated stairs/deck and flooring. The only issue we had was that the adjacent lot between us and Ocean Breeze was overgrown and needed to be cut...we usually walk that way to the beach.

Absolutely Splendid.....

Just Ducky truly is JUST DUCKY! Our group of nine women have been vacationing at Sunset Beach for 18 years and have stayed in many houses, but Just Ducky has become our favorite! It is spacious yet cozy with a huge table that seats all of us comfortably! The screened porch with swing and rockers is utilized nightly. Its location so close to beach access makes it very desirable and convenient. Already looking forward to next year's BEACH BABE WEEK!
