Jake's Place is an island cottage located on the west end of Sunset Beach. A screened porch to unwind after beach adventures or exploring the area is perfect. With accommodations for eight people and all the essential amenities, it is a wonderful spot for a beach vacation.

Jake's Place was a great house for us this year. We picked it because of location and it turned out to be really convenient. We have stayed in many houses on the island in years past, but this one really did feel like a true beach cottage. It was a perfect setup for our small group.

Our family LOVES Sunset Beach and Jake's Place was such a nice place for us to stay! So close to the beach and quiet neighbors made our stay enjoyable and hard to leave!

The house was adequate and had been somewhat updated with granite in the bathrooms and new flooring in the living and kitchen areas. The front porch had comfortable rockers, the beds were comfortable and there were TVs in the living room and each bedroom. There were 6 adults (three couples) staying in the house. Seating in the living room could accommodate only 4, with 3 people on the couch. It would have been nice to have an outdoor eating option with a picnic table. Also, the kitchen was not as well stocked as many houses we have rented before. Overall, the house was better than average and a few changes would have made our stay more comfortable.

We had a wonderful time. We found a couple of minor things in the kitchen that would have been nice to have had like pot holders and a bowl for mixing, also a measuring cup. The house was nice and it was a comfortable stay. We would definitely consider staying in this house again. I recommend it!

Wonderful stay at Jake's Place. Our family enjoyed our week at Sunset beach. Jake's Place is a short walk to the beach, has all the necessary items in the kitchen and was perfect for our family. Would stay at Jak's place again.

My family thoroughly enjoyed Jake's Place. It was a very cozy Beach House.We used the front porch everyday maximizing its capacity!!!!!!As our family count is growing we probably would not rent this property again!!!Too small!:)

Jake's Place was a warm and inviting, cozy beach house. We had all the amenities we needed with a close walk to the beach. The house was super well maintained. The furniture was comfy and the screened in porch was perfect for warm summer nights. We will definitely be back next year!
We really enjoyed our stay at Jake's Place. The layout of the house was perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen was stocked with a great selection of cookware and utensils for all our needs.
