GREAT STAY AT THE BEACH!

This was our family's 6th year renting Irish Tides. As there are 13 of us now, we need a larger house with lots of bedrooms and baths and ample space for cooking, eating, and visiting. The game area of the house was in use every night - often until the wee hours. We love the newish stove with its fast heating burners. It would be impossible to find another kitchen this well equipped.Irish Tides has had new owners for the last few years. We are delighted and amazed each year with the additions and renovations that have appeared since our previous summer.This year we were surprised with an ultra modern stainless steel double door refrigerator with pull-out meat and cheese tray and an ample freezer on the bottom. On the other side of the kitchen was a new state-of-the-art dishwasher. In the laundry room downstairs the plumbing had been completely replaced and another new washing machine was installed. We actually think the entire plumbing system of the house has been renovated. We have stayed at Sunset Beach for many years, and Irish Tides is the best house we have ever rented. Its new large upper and lower decks offer amazing views of the ocean. The beach is only a short walk away with the beach access right next to the house. This house is large enough that even with 13 people we never feel crowded and there are lots of spaces for alone quiet time as well as a table large enough for all of us! This week at Sunset Beach together is the highlight of our year. Our children and grandchildren think this is the perfect beach. So as long as we are able, we will continue to come here on our annual beach trip and will always stay at Irish Tides. Look for us here next year the 3rd week in June.

We enjoyed our time at Irish Tides and would recommend this roomy rental. The location with direct beach access was great and the views from the property were beautiful. We saw sunrises and sunsets, the moon and stars, dolphins close to shore and many varieties of birds all from the oceanview decks. It was a fantastic experience.

Irish Tides is a beautiful beach front home with 6 bedrooms, 4 baths and beach access beside the house. It is an upgraded duplex that has been completely remodeled into one big house. Every year the owners add something new and wonderful. Upper and lower decks are new as is deck furniture. There are new front and back staircases and a new outdoor shower. This year's surprise was a new double door refrigerator. One of the beauties of the house is the extensively equipped kitchen. There is a game area as well as a large dining room, also with new chairs .Our family of 13 has room to spread out for alone time in this spacious home. After years of dragging sheets and towels to the beach, we love that this home is linen ready. This was our 6th year at Irish Tides and we will hopefully return every summer.

Great week at the beach! Irish tides was well equipped. The decks and stairs have been replaced recently and are in great shape. No complaints!

We have been coming to Sunset Beach for the past 8 years. The Irish Tide property was the best property we have stayed at!!

We are a family of 12 with two teenagers and 3 younger children above the age of 5. This large living area gives everyone his or her own space whenever needed. As presented in the house description, the beach access is right beside the house and there is only ONE step down to the beach - great for a wagon packed full of beach gear. The views are fantastic. The house is a work in progress and a little more is added each year. The appliances in the kitchen are new and efficient. The two washers and dryers are much appreciated. There are some bits and pieces that we are accustomed to having missing in the kitchen, but every family's needs differ and we are happy to bring the utensils we need. Since we are a family of coffee drinkers, we kept running out of cups, but a thrift store visit added 4 to the cabinet for future use. The huge shrimp boil pot is just what we need for our traditional Monday meal! From the day we first set foot in the house everyone declared that we had found our new forever "home" at Sunset Beach. Being a linen ready house is a huge perk!

Great location it accommodated our large family great however it needs a lot of TLC. The homeowners need to take some time and do some repairs. It would be an awesome house if this was done.

Fabulous location and very comfortable.

Our family of 12 loves this house. The interior is spacious and well furnished. The big table accommodates all of the family at the same time, even though the 3 younger children usually eat at the bar. We especially like that it is a linen ready house and that the beds are made when we check in (there are 10 beds), Both sheets and towels are high quality. But the most amazing thing about Irish Tides is the view of the ocean and beach from both decks. We also appreciate the short walk to the beach. Oh, and the stove is fabulous! We have already reserved Irish Tides for next year and hope to return for many years in the future. A GREAT place to vacation for a large family.
