Four Csons

We have been coming to Sunset for over 40 years and have seen many of the smaller houses torn down and larger ones built in their place. We felt so blessed to find this cozy vintage cottage this year that was perfectly updated, yet kept its old charm. The light paint on the walls adds the perfect update but still keeps the original vintage charm with the paneling. The amount of seating in the living room and dining room was more than enough! The updated kitchen and main bathroom bring this cottage into the modern era. The large king mattress in the primary bedroom was so comfy! We loved staying in a smaller house and plan on staying here again next year!

Clean and mostly updated house. My family enjoyed the stay for the week. The walk to the beach was 5 minutes or less. The location on the island was ideal.

The house was immaculate and obviously recently updated. I loved the kitchen and the newly renovated bathroom is "to die for". The street was quiet and it is a very short walk to the beach. I love this property and will rent it again.

This is the most perfect beach house we have ever stayed at. House was spotless, well furnished, and very easy access to beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Helms Haven. The house was very nice and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals except for a can opener. The only thing I would change about the house is the shower in the master. Needs to be larger with an adjustable shower head. Being elderly, short and on the heavy side, I had a very hard time in the shower. A small table and chairs on the back deck would be an excellent added benefit too.
