DiLaRo Retreat

DiLaRio was a wonderful house. The house is well-maintained, well stocked, and convenient to everything. The beds were confortable, the AC worked well, and being linen ready was a plus. The views from the front and rear of the house were exceedingly nice. We would definitley stay here again. We have stayed at many nice houses at Sunset Beach over the past 20 years. This house is at the top of the list (with one or two others). DiLaRio wonderful home to stay in!

Sunset Properties has been our go-to for 4 years now. We always receive amazing customer service from whomever we get the chance to speak with!

The house was much improved from years past with several wonderful updates. We enjoyed our week and look forward to next year. Our only concerns were the mattress qualities of the king size bed on the main floor and the pull out couch in the basement room.

Our property has become a second home for my family and I. It is truly a retreat fromOur normal day to day; our tiny piece of Sunset Paradise!

We loved staying at DiLaRo! The sunrooms, decks, and screen porches are perfect for a large family. You could travel the world and not find a more beautiful view of the sunset as the one from the porches of DiLaRo! The dock and gazebo are beautiful and perfect! The solar lights are a great feature. We rented a tandem kayak for the week and really enjoyed exploring the marshes at high tides. We loved all of the birds and especially the jumping fish! The bedroom downstairs has a king, a pull out couch, full bath, tv, etc. It was perfect for our teenagers. We all are already dreaming of another vacation at DiLaRo someday!

This home exceeded our expectations! It looked as if it was remodeled/redecorated immediately prior to our visit. Everything was fresh/new looking and clean, bright and airy. The space is so well utilized. The 7 outdoor seating areas were what we enjoyed the most, particularly the glassed in sun porches. The home is perfectly located with an easy 5 minunte walk to the beach and beautiful sunset views over the Intracoastal Waterway. What a GEM!

We loved our time at Sunset Perrydise. This year we changed it up and got some Vacation Vittles which were delicious. Sunset Properties did a great job of bridging the arrival gap by providing some dish liquid and trash bags for the first day of our stay. The property was clean and comfortable with amazing views of the marsh and wildlife. The queen mattress downstairs needs to be replaced and is uncomfortable but the king bed upstairs has an excellent mattress and the bonus room in the basement is great for the teenagers! We can't wait to come back again next year.

We loved Sunset Perrydise. We loved the views of the sound and marsh. The home with multiple glassed in porches perfectly framed the views. There were decks if you wanted to enjoy being outdoors. It was comfortable with several gathering areas for games or socializing.

This was a beautiful home, very well stocked and maintained. The beds are nice, the WiFi and electronics wonderful and the short walk to the completely wooded boardwalk was a small price to pay for the breathtaking views of the sound and the great dock. We will stay here every time we come to Sunset Beach!

We loved Sunset Perrydise! Its location on the marsh was incredibly relaxing and a great place to enjoy the natural beauty of Sunset Beach. The preservation of the dunes and plant life of the ocean front should be practiced by every beach community!

The house was great, all the rooms were very clean and nice. Our house had a great view and when the sun went down had an amazing sunset. The whole vacation was enjoyable and my family and I would all go back!!!
