Carolina Coral

This was a very well-equipped home, with plenty of space for eight adults. All thew furnishings were in excellent shape, and the property was well-maintained.

We had a lovely week's stay at Carolina Coral. We've rented innumerable places on the east oceanfront on Sunset Beach for over 40 years, and this is one of the nicest. It's very nicely decorated and the furniture is comfortable with generous living room seating. There are 4 king beds, a bathroom for every bedroom, and a very well-supplied kitchen. The entire duplex is in great shape and really clean. Especially pleasing to us are the rocking chairs on both upper deck and porch. There are also outside tables and chairs on the porch and the bottom level, which also has a porch swing. The outside furniture was also clean and in good shape. Many extra small amenities have been supplied, such as a baby gate, suitcase racks, laundry baskets, hair dryers, lots of beach-reading paperbacks, games, etc. The feeling of this rental is that the owners care about their guests and want to take good care of them. The place is located in between two walkways to the beach, about 4 lots either way.

Carolina Coral is the very nicest rental my husband and I have stayed in at Sunset. We have been coming down to Sunset since the mid-70's. We have stayed in dozens of rentals. Carolina Coral is the very best. It is nicely furnished, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.The refrigerator was replaced while we were there and JJ, who assisted was very pleasant and helpful. We left a day early because the folks that showed up on Thursday, at the house next door, were ready to "PARTY". We had such a peaceful time up until then that we didn't want to ruin it. So, we left.

Carolina Coral is our all time favorite ocean home.It is a beautifully maintained property and by far one of the best equipped homes we have ever stayed at. The owners keep adding beautiful amenities like an extended deck and quality porch furniture and cushions everywhere. Even on the coolest days if the sun is shining we can drink our coffee outdoors looking at the the best ocean view on the east end of the island. Every year we can't wait to return to Carolina Coral¸

We had another wonderful year at Sunset Beach and staying at this lovely and well equipped property, Carolina Coral. The unit is a spacious 2000 square foot duplex with four nicely furnished bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. All the appliances are updated and work well including a nice wine fridge in the bar area. There is an ice maker, but it has never worked in the three years we've stayed at this property, so you do need to plan to buy extra ice for coolers. The view is spectacular of the dunes and the ocean from the front deck, which has been expanded and includes a dining table to seat eight and nice rocking chairs. Underneath there is another nice dining table with four years and extra seating. We do usually rent a gas grill, because the charcoal grills that are installed don't work well in the wind. The master bathroom upstairs has been completely updated, but the other three bathrooms are pretty standard for the beach. Wood floors in the living room were replaced for 2022 and there are also wood floors in the kitchen and hall downstairs--carpet on the stairs and in all the bedrooms. Overall, this is one of the nicest places that we have stayed on Sunset Beach. There are four king size beds, so the only small negative is kids have to share a bed, but it's great for couples. Also each bedroom has its own full bath. It was nice to have a new beach walkway this year provided by the Town of Sunset Beach, making the short walk to the beach easier and more accessible.

Carolina Coral was a lovely home that the owners have organized and maintained in great condition. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our 10th year to vacation here. First time for oceanfront! This property was awesome! The view was just perfection! The kitchen was so well equipped. All 4 King beds were super comfortable. It was perfect to have bathrooms in each bedroom. Loved the outdoor furniture too, especially the rocking chairs!

Carolina Coral is our favorite !! The view is spectacular!! The new first floor deck is where we gravitated to every day all day! The porch furniture and rockers are high quality and appreciated, especially the outdoor table where we ate all our meals on a warm day. Carolina Coral is also well equipped and well organized. We had a fabulous time both young and old!

We stayed at Carolina coral for 2 weeks. The home is beautiful, immaculate and wonderfully decorated. It is obvious that great care is taken to keep the house well maintained and to provide the visitors with every amenity they could want or need…right down to a wine cooler ! Carolina Coral is a beautiful home. My husband and I have rented at Sunset for over 40 years. Carolina Coral is the nicest, most well equipped home we have ever enjoyed. The NEW decks are wonderfully furnished with high quality outdoor furniture. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen, it has everything you might need to feed a crowd. New appliances are one more aspect that makes this home effortless. Each room has clean, new furniture and is attractively decorated. The Master Bath is a dream. Our Thanksgiving family trip was enhanced by our stay at Carolina Coral.

We love visiting Sunset Beach and have stayed in various properties. The view of the ocean from the extended deck was fantastic.

Carolina Coral is a dream vacation home! Even though we only get to visit this amazing property for 1 week a year, the memories that we take away are priceless. Thanks to Sunset Properties for always having our house ready and their friendly staff to help us with whatever situation may come up.

Our family absolutely loved Carolina Coral. The view is spectacular and the extended decking off the porch gave us all ample room to be outdoors together. That was a great surprise! We have been coming to sunset beach for 30 years and stayed several places but Carolina Coral is our favorite. The owners provided many thoughtful extras. We hope to return next year!!

The home more than lived up to the photos on Sunset's website. Not only was the house bright and beautifully appointed, it was fully stocked with household and kitchen necessities as well as a multiple charging station. The generous supply of plastic containers were really helpful. Multiple decks and beachfront location made our stay really special. We would absolutely rent this property again.

Carolina Coral is the best property we have experienced in seven trips to Sunset Beach. The bedrooms with king beds and private bathrooms was a plus, Kitchen had plenty of counter space and was well appointed. Front lawn area was very nice for grandchildren play and the walk to the beach was short and easy. Definitely a quality property.

We very much enjoyed our week at Carolina Coral. Beautiful home and beautifully decorated. Already looking forward to our next stay.
