The BIG Snow of 2010

At least, I'm hoping this is "the" big snow of 2010. We got more than our fair share of snow last night in Brunswick County, North Carolina. An early day prediction yesterday put our snowfall amounts up to 7 inches, as the whole office was jumping for joy. Luckily, we didn't get nearly as much as the Weather Channel had predicted. But, it was still a pleasant surprise for all of us who might only see late night flurries this time of year.

I started taking pictures around 7:00 this morning of the snow. By the time I made it out to the bridge, a huge crowd had gathered to snap a shot of what might be the last snowfall the bridge experiences. It's pretty amazing to see snow on a normally beautiful, sunny, and mild beach strand. Enjoy the photos!
