The owner of this unique property would like to share her childhood home with us. From the age of 10, her family spent vacations at this location. Even though her parents are no longer alive, Sunset is still here. A few years ago a new home was built using pieces of the original home in the interior. This is home now!
Visitors to 704 East Main love the oceanfront location and the design of the home. Expansive deck space allows visitors to enjoy views of the dunes, wide sandy beach, and ocean beyond. Inside, the abundance of bedrooms and bathrooms make large gatherings comfortable. Handicap accessibility and the elevator create opportunities for all family and friends to gather at the beach.
Features in Dunes Day include a reversed floorplan and two master suites. It has ceiling fans, six TVs, DVD players, VCRs, DSL internet access, and a gas fireplace. An elevator is available for those with demonstrated need. The master bedroom and bath on the first floor have been built to accomodate a wheelchair.
This is one of a select number of our rental homes participating in the Platinum Perks program. The home has met certain key size, furnishing and amenity standards to qualify. Guests will enjoy special benefits not available at all homes: beach chairs (one per bedroom) and a beach wagon will be provided at no charge, internet access is also included. Beds will be made with linen at no charge, and partial check-in is allowed after 1:30pm (we'll have a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen ready for your use by that time. You can drop the bags and head to the beach while we finish the cleaning by our normal check-in time of 4pm).
