NC Azalea Festival
For over 60 years Southeastern NC has been throwing a festive event like no other- be sure to be a part of this event the first full week of April each year. The Festival is a celebration of Wilmington's exceptional artwork, gardens, rich history and culture during its five days of entertainment that includesa parade, street fair, circus, concerts and all things SOUTHERN!!

Blue Crab Festival
This fun weekend festival is held in mid-May in Little River, SC-just a 15 minute drive from the island.

North Carolina Oyster Festival
The famous oyster festival is held on Ocean Isle Beach during the 3rd weekend of October. People come from hundreds of miles to eat oysters, listen to great music, browse hundreds of crafts and vendor tents and enjoy the rest of the festivities. This event has been honored as North Carolina's best Fesitval in the past, and is a party that you must make plans to attend during mid-October.
