Properties for years and years. In 2009 we rented from another company for
some reason that I can't even recall now. The home was fine but the
customer service was terrible. Before we left Sunset Beach that year we

Our Company
Thank you for considering Sunset Properties as either your property manager or host for your family's next vacation here on the island of Sunset Beach, NC.
Our company was founded in 1988, and has grown over the years to become the largest rental management company and real estate sales operation on the island at Sunset Beach. The company's partners are Ron & Adrienne Watts and Pat & Ginny Wolfe.
The company manages approximately 400 homes for short-term vacations. Pat Wolfe serves as our company's General Manager, and we have a total of 13 full-time employees that work with our homeowners and guests handling reservations, marketing, property services, housekeeping, maintenance, and accounting. We work with over 200 other contractors that help us with housekeeping and maintenance projects throughout the year. We work hard on a daily basis to fulfill our motto: "Setting a Higher Standard". We offer homeowners an active marketing program. Our website has been designed by Visual Data Systems (Ellicott City, MD), and we continually update the site with more features to make it easier for both our rental guests and homeowners to use. We recently moved to a web-based reservation system that offers additional marketing features for our homeowners. We rely on the web, direct marketing, and general media promotion to market to individuals that haven't experienced a Sunset Beach stay yet.
We strive to make our best feature our customer service. Each of our staff members wants to make sure that, whether you are a homeowner or rental guest, your stay while on the island has everything to do with relaxing. Whether by playing in the sand and water or simply reading a book on the deck, we hope you'll have little concern about items around the house itself. And if something comes up, our staff will tackle it as quickly as possible. The guest comments above are samples of the comments we receive after a stay.
As part of our services, we do provide real estate sales for both buyers and sellers on the island. Our company closed the highest sales volume of island transactions in 2011, and for four of the last five years.
